Jim Mc Gilliray substituted Lutz Oldemeier in February 1975 for three months, after that Butze Fischer adopted the drums. Jochen Schrumpf (guitar) enlarged the line-up in March. The band was touring a lot (for example 5.4. Nero/Wiesbaden and 19.4. Jugendzentrum Iserlohn), the gigs were often performed together with EMBRYO. Burkard Schmidl (keyboards) joined in May and from now on developed to a new inspiring component of MISSUS BEASTLY. Schrumpf left the band after some months towards KOLLEKTIV.
The idea to produce and distribute LPs single-handed was implemented in spring 1976 with the foundation of the APRIL cooperative together with EMBRYO, SPARIFANKAL and TON, STEINE, SCHERBEN. The musicians made and controlled everything on their own: creation, cover art, production and distribution based on a network of friends. Later other bands like CHECKPOINT CHARLIE, MUNJU, MOIRA und die REAL AX BAND tried to get in but the founders wanted to conserve a clear structure.
The next MISSUS BEASTLY album Dr. Aftershave and the Mixed-Pickles got to be the first release of the new label. Probably the band tried to force some confusion when changing band name and album title. Another very good one dominated by jazz rock, fusion and world music. They were supported by several friends: Roman Bunka, Christian Burchard from EMBRYO, Wolli Tümmler (sax), member of the band EINHORN (Atzen Wehmeyer's new project), Raimund ‘Ömmes’ Fuhrig (percussion) from JOHANNESLUST ORCHESTER and Maria Archer (vocals). Until 1978 the cooperative could sell 5000 copies - Teldec however only 1500.
Jürgen Benz left the band in spring 1976 and founded MUNJU afterwards. In May MISSUS BEASTLY went on tour to Italy and has been the first rock band to play in Sardinia. They were at the 'Umsonst & Draußen-Festival' in Vlotho and the song 'Slow One (Stoppt Strauß)' is put on the sampler Umsonst und Draußen - VIotho 1976 (D 1976 - Maulschnauz MOL 0002). Other live performances are known from the Westcoast Festival in August and the APRIL-Fest, Berlin (October). The Second German Television (ZDF) broadcasted a documentation on 11/20/1976. Butze Fischer went to EMBRYO in November 1976. Freddy Setz came in for him.
In March 1997 Norbert Dömling departed as well and was substituted by Matz Steinke on the bass. An APRIL tour followed where they played in 10 different german cities. The band had an important role for the german movie Johnny West furthermore. It's the story about a roadie who becomes a rock star. Rio Reiser had the leading part who managed it to become the band's guitarist (but only in the story). Music trust CBS reacted with a charge on the APRIL existence and the project had to be renamed to SCHNEEBALL Records. The sampler April ist Schneeball was released containing the MISSUS BEASTLY song 'Miles All Along The Watchtower' .
Their gig at 'Umsonst & Draußen-Festival' in 1977 is manifested on the sampler Umsonst und draußen - VIotho 1977 (D 1977 - Maulschnauz MOL 0003/0004, 2LP) with the song 'For Flü'. Freddy Setz broke away in August and went to AERA. Substitute Rainer Römer only remained the next four months and then also Matz Steinke left the band in January 1978 towards AERA.
