This evening at the Bielefeld Movie was booked for the wellknown neo progressive band PENDRAGON with Nick Barrett and Clive Nolan as the masterminds. They had already been in this region two years ago at pROCKfest 2006 - supported by some former members - and could really convince me.

Now this time being on tour presenting their new album Pure and the new drummer Scott Higham they could meet my expectations once again with much joy of playing.

Coon B., singer/guitarist of the band ABARAX (excellent voice), opened the evening with an acoustic set put together with his favourites and the special request 'Salty Dog'.

Nick Barrett on the stage and an intensive experience is guaranteed! He always gives one hundred per cent (what is confirmed watching the concert pics for sure). Even Clive Nolan - very cool at the beginning - broke the ice during the gig and began to enjoy the performance more and more.

Of course they played some new songs from 'Pure' which I could hear for the first time, additionally 'The Wishing Well' and 'Learning Curve' from my preferred album 'Believe' and hits of the former efforts (for example 'The Masquerade Overture').

Unfortunately I had to leave before the gig finally ended and could only enjoy the first bonus song and there was no chance for me to reach for the setlist.
