Ritual was the 'Big Surprise' for me on this evening! I didn't know much about them and was aware of only one or two songs.

They performed a special blend of heavy rocking parts and folksy elements with flute and several acoustic guitars. The songs were prepared with a noticeable joy of playing and headed by the charismatic singer/guitarist Patrik Lundström.

Centerpiece of their gig were the songs of their recent album 'The Hemulic Voluntary Band' of course and they could be enjoyed as extended versions.

I was very impressed by their gig - a recommended (live) band! Afterwards at the merchandising corner I asked Patrik for the set-list which he wrote down on a card ...
